What’s this all about?

The idea:

Dinner + 1 had been rattling around in the back of my cranium for a while, and my move back to New York seemed like the perfect opportunity to start it all up. I invite three people and they each invite a + 1, preferably someone no one else knows. (And I also get my own + 1.) I cook, we all eat and drink, and there might even be some fun and games and other shenanigans. Dinner + 1 is all about meeting new people — ideally cool ones, with reasonably interesting things to say — eating something tasty, drinking a lot and having ourselves a good time.

The rules:

1. Bring a + 1 you’d like us to meet.

2. Bring wine and $16 between the two of you.

3. Bring an appetite.
